Why Pursue Health Reform? -- One Provider's View
Robert K. Smoldt is Chief Administrative Officer Emeritus of Mayo Clinic and now serves as Executive Director of the Mayo Clinic Health Policy Center. He served on the Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees and its Executive Committee from 1990-2007. Bob has had assignments at Mayo facilities in Rochester and Scottsdale. He has completed two terms as secretary of the Mayo Clinic Rochester Board of Governors and sat with the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale Board as a senior advisor from 1998-2000. He spoke with NPF fellows about healthcare plans proposed by presidential candidates on November 14, 2007.
